4409. A RARE BYZANTINE LAMP WITH INSCRIPTION, ca. 5th-8th century AD. The lamp with 7 wick holes and 2 lines of Greek inscription probably reading EULOGIA THC QEOTOKOU EPIGRAMA IWANNOU. Anawati erroneously translates this as 'Eulogia of our brother Theotokos, inscription of John' however Theotokos is properly translated as 'mother of God'. 3.5".
