5900. SCYTHIAN BRONZE MACEHEAD, cent. B.C. The cast bronze macehead made in the form of a cylinder with pyramidal spikes, through hole of a conical shape. Final of this type must be mounted on poles, which have not been survived. At the top, right in the shallow groove under the collar there is a perpendicular hole to the axis with remain of a pin for attachment to the handle. 39 x 42 mm.
