8216. IMPRESSIVE IBERIAN BRONZE HOUND, c. 8th-7th century BC. An excellent example of these very rare early Iberian bronze figures representing a large hound in an alert forward looking posture. 6" length. On custom lucite stand. Front paws missing, otherwise in excellent original condition. Very rare. Reverse view.

8931. UNFINISHED TROY TYPE STONE AXE, ca. 3500-1500 BC. The axe with notch where socket is normally found. 3.9 inches. Heinrich Schliemann found similar examples at Troy with only notches such as this has rather than completely drilled socket holes.
