Beautiful sensitively carved figure of the Buddha seated in teaching posture (Dharmachakra asana) on a dais with half closed eyes, his left hand grasping the hem of his robe which flows gracefully from his left shoulder down over his body, his hair drawn up into the Buddhist ushnisha topknot.
