12885. BEAUTIFUL MUGHAL JADE LOTUS DISH. India, Mughal period, 17th-18th century.Beautifully carved from pale celadon jade with touches of red in the form of open lotus blossoms, the top handle in the form of a lotus seed pod. Dimensions: 7.25 x 7.25 x 4 inches. Excellent intact condition with no repair or restoration. Similar Mughal jade bowls and dishes have brought well over $100,000 at Christie's and Sotheby's. Large carved limestone head of a Buddhist prince, his hair drawn up into a Buddhist unisha topknot and wearing the wide mustache of a noble, a pearl or gold bead diadem with large central ornament on his forehead. 17 x 9 x 8 inches. 50 lbs. All original with no repair or restoration, a couple of small scrapes. On a strong custom black steel stand.

TIBETAN ART

7546. FINE TIBETAN SILVER AND TURQUOISE BRACELET, c. 19th century. The large silver bracelet set with a large older turquoise bead. The whole with handworked birds and other designs. Said to have been made by the jeweler to the Tibetan royal family. 2.5".
