6253. A MESOPOTAMIAN CUNEIFORM TABLET, c. 2nd millennium BC. Both sides with cuneiform, one side with light cylinder seal impressions, the clay hard and stable and in excellent condition. 1.5 inches. $850 estimate.

6255. A MESOPOTAMIAN CARNELIAN NECKLACE WITH LARGE STAMP SEAL, c. 2nd millennium BC (a few of the beads later). Mostly graduated carnelian beads with a few of other stones mixed in, some incised and inlaid, the large stamp seal engraved with a single large animal on the face, the stone itself with numerous flecks of gold or pyrite. 20 inches, the seal 1.25 inches. $1250 estimate.

6257. A RARE MESOPOTAMIAN AMULET OF THE DEMON PAZUZU, c. 1000 BC. Molded head of the demon Pazuzu on both sides. Pazuzu was the chief Mesopotamian demon and was prominently featured in the opening of ‘The Exorcist’. 1.3 inches. Excellent condition with original suspension loop. Very Rare. $1750 estimate.
