The realistically rendered ceramic horse stands at attention wearing saddle and saddle blanket and a bridle. Beautifully painted in soft violet, red, orange, white and black, the colors all original and largely intact. The piece itself intact with no repair or restoration. Dimensions 12 x 12 inches. Provenance: The Princeton Collection. Acquired in the 1990's from a major US antiquities dealer. $4000.
