B2696. AFTER ANDREA DEL VERROCCHIO (1481-8). Italian Foundry, 19th century. Superbly rendered and detailed large copy in bronze of the famous equestrian statue of Bartolommeo Colleoni, commander of the Venetian Republic by Andrea del Verrocchio, 1481-8. 24" height, 52lbs. Bend to the staff he carries in his hand, otherwise excellent condition.



B2697. L. MORELLI. Italian, ca. 1920's. 'Reclining Girl With Tamborine'. Sculpture in white marble. Signed 'S. Morelli – Florence, Galleria Romanelli' on back of base. The bare chested dancing girl wearing only a loincloth with tassels. 15.75 inches on 5 x 17.75 inch base of beautifully patterned black and white marble which offers a perfect contrast to the figure. Choice condition and wonderful 'flapper' style.



B2698. ANNE LOUIS DE ROUSSY TROISAN GIRODET. French, 1767-1824. (Attributed to). 'Paris and Helen At The Fall of Troy'. Oil on canvas, unsigned. Brass plate on frame reading 'Girodet (De)'. Paris, sword in hand protects Helen as the Greeks battle around the Trojan Horse seen through the open door, his armour against a flaming altar to the right. 22 x 25.5 inches in frame. Four old tags in French with various references and attributions to De Girodet on verso of early internal frame. De Girodet is a well known listed artist with numerous sales up to $320,000 at Sotheby's and other major auction houses. De Girodet was a Romanticist and pupil of David and Prudhon, and produced many paintings with classical themes. Small professionally done repair at Helen's cheek & behind her shoulder, otherwise in excellent condition.



B2699. HOBART NICHOLS, 1869-1962. 'Winter Landscape With Stream'. Oil on canvas, signed lower right. 30.5 x 36.5 inches in fine old frame (a couple of flakes to frame). Finely done with especially wonderful rendering of light on snow. A listed artist whose works have sold for up to $13,000 at major auction houses. Excellent condition.

B2714. AN ITALIAN DOUBLE-SIDED BOOK-FORM BOX CONTAINING FINE PLASTER IMPRESSIONS OF INTAGLIOS. Vatican Museum, 19th century. Each depicting mainly Classical figures and scenes mounted in contemporary half vellum and marbelized bound books, with a beautifully hand-written list adhered to the inside front and back covers, each medallion bearing an inventory number, containing 49 medallions of exceedingly fine detail and style. 6.5 x 10 inches. The covers taped.



B2715. TWO DINOSAUR EGGS. Dendrolithus sp. (Duckbill), Cretaceous, Kaoguo Formation, Xixia Basin, Henan province, China. Largest 4.8". One loose from matrix, the other reattached, both with much original shell.
