The heavy silver neck ornament of quadruple twisted wire terminating in flatened ends with engraved stippled trident designs and holes for securing. 6 x 6.8". 103 gm. Choice condition with traces of bronze malachite deposits ensuring authenticity. Rare this nice. Intact and wearable.

12114. EXCEPTIONAL CELTIC FIGURAL SILVER FIBULA. 1st-2nd centuries AD. Silvered bronze fibula in the form of a facing bust of a boy, flanked by dragons above dolphins. Simple pin attachment on back. Maximum width: 30mm. Pin intact with much of the silvering remaining. Encrustation, particularly heavy on the back. A very rare type.

11659. WONDERFUL CELTIC BRONZE ARMBAND. Hungary, late 1st millennium BC. A large Celtic armband designed to be worn over the upper arm of a man. Choice condition and the entire surface exhibiting the most marvelous glossy jade patina. 4.5 x 5 inches. Provenance: From an old Hungarian collection formed in the 1960's. Other side.

8756. A CHOICE CELTIC LA TENE FIBULA, ca. 300 BC. The large heavy fibula with catch plate tail looped back the length of the body and ornamented with a large knob, the original spring and pin a continuation of the body. 3.6". Nice patina covering most of the silver which shows through on the spring and pin. Extremely rare.
