12885. BEAUTIFUL MUGHAL JADE LOTUS DISH. India, Mughal period, 17th-18th century.Beautifully carved from pale celadon jade with touches of red in the form of open lotus blossoms, the top handle in the form of a lotus seed pod. Dimensions: 7.25 x 7.25 x 4 inches. Excellent intact condition with no repair or restoration. Similar Mughal jade bowls and dishes have brought well over $100,000 at Christie's and Sotheby's. Provenance: A midwestern collection.
